Southwest Airlines is a US airline flying mostly domestic routes, plus flights to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. Since January 27, 2026, all flights have assigned seats, with boarding groups 1–8. The website, app, Rapid Rewards accounts and airport check-in can fail separately, and most flight delays come from weather or air traffic control, not an IT outage.
