Stripe Not Working for You? It Might Not Be an Outage

If the status above shows no ongoing outage but Stripe isn't loading for you, the problem is likely on your side or with your internet provider.

Common Reasons Stripe Stops Working

• Stripe API or Dashboard outage — these are separate services that can fail independently
• A specific payment method (cards, ACH, SEPA, Link) experiencing processing issues
• Stripe webhook delivery delayed or failing — payments process fine but events don't arrive
• Stripe Radar flagging legitimate transactions as fraudulent
• A currency conversion or regional payment processing issue affecting specific countries

How to Fix Stripe Not Working

1. Check status.stripe.com — Stripe tracks API, Dashboard, and each payment method separately
2. Check webhook delivery status in your Stripe Dashboard → Developers → Webhooks → event logs
3. For Radar blocks, check your Stripe Dashboard → Radar → Reviews for flagged payments
4. Test with a different payment method if one specific type (e.g. ACH) is failing
5. Use the Stripe CLI to test API connectivity: stripe listen
6. Contact Stripe support at support.stripe.com with your account ID for account-specific issues
