Common Reasons Bing Stops Working

• Microsoft backend outage affecting Bing Search, Bing Chat (Copilot), or Bing Maps independently
• Bing AI (Copilot) infrastructure separate from Bing Search — one can fail while the other works
• Browser extension or ad blocker interfering with Bing's scripts
• SafeSearch or parental control settings filtering results unexpectedly
• ISP or corporate network blocking Bing in your region

How to Fix Bing Not Working

1. Check admin.microsoft.com/servicestatus for Microsoft service health
2. Try bing.com in an incognito window to rule out browser extensions
3. For Copilot issues, try copilot.microsoft.com directly — it has its own infrastructure
4. Check your SafeSearch settings at bing.com/settings/search
5. Try a different browser (Edge works best for Bing AI features)
6. Flush DNS if bing.com fails to load: ipconfig /flushdns on Windows
