How to Fix USPS Not Working

2. Try the USPS tracking tool directly at tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction rather than through the homepage
3. If tracking hasn't updated in 24–48h, it's usually a scanning gap — the package is still moving
4. Try usps.com in a different browser or in incognito if the site fails to load
5. For missing packages, call 1-800-275-8777 — a human agent can check internal tracking data not visible online
6. Submit a Missing Mail search at missingmail.usps.com for packages missing more than 7 days
